Off for a Ride

Lower Buller Gorge, West Coast, New Zealand
Hi and welcome to my website. If you’ve visited before or if you have a bit of a look around you’ll notice that it’s pretty much all about bikes: the bikes I’ve ridden or dream about and the rides I’ve been on or am planning to do.
My current touring bike is a 2008 Kawasaki GTR1400 Concours and I particularly like loading it up and getting out to enjoy some of the great riding that New Zealand has on offer. I also own a 2008 Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom which is my work hack and back roads explorer. I live in Palmerston North and generally don’t have far to go to get stuck into some good riding but also attend a few organized rides that involve covering big distances in limited time.
You’ll find a few write-ups/stories about some of these rides here or on my blog. I hope you find them interesting and that it helps encourage you to get out on a bike and enjoy a bit of road wherever you’re from.
